Overview

I created a golf shoe inspired by the tailor-made stealth driver series. The process required that use of a vac-u-form, polyurethane foam blocks, spray paints, 3-D printing, a sewing machine and embroidery machine.

Key Features

  • Branding Details: My inspiration for the branding details featured on the toe box and heel of the shoe are inspired by the feel of Taylor Mades head covers. My goal with this placement was to also mimic the placement of the branding featured the stealth driver.

  • Lace Lock: I added the lace lock to the shoe to give it a sporty feel that is reminiscent years 2000s basketball shoes.

  • Sole Details: I wanted this shoe to feel like something you could see on the PGA tour so I decided to make sure it the shoe had spikes. The black accent tread was engraved with the line work details and cut with a laser. The inner red details were printed in PLA.

  • Two Sets of Laces: As seen in the picture, the shoe features a pair of gray laces but the shoe also comes with a second pair of laces with the Taylor Made Stealth slogan “pray for fargiveness” written all over.
